Young leaders are working together across barriers of religion to contribute to peacebuilding in India. Popularly called “Grub Up,” the second edition of the program took place in December of 2017 to present opportunities for youth to dialogue in workshops, visit various religious institutions with faith leaders and work together to plan and implement activities that enhance social cohesion and volunteerism in their communities across barriers of religion.
Initiated by Global Peace Foundation, the interfaith program encourages youth to explore the importance of faith traditions, not for its dogma, but rather as a foundation for a social conscience necessary to practice good citizenship in a civil society.
