Dr. Junsook Moon is Co-founder of the Global Peace Foundation and Chairwoman of Global Peace Women. A Julliard-trained pianist, Dr. Moon serves on the Executive Board of Service for Peace. She also advances humanitarian relief efforts through the North Korean Housing and Furnace Relief Project, the Multicultural Family Support Center in Seoul, and other international relief projects.

Dr. KH Said Aqiel Siradj

Dr. KH Said Aqil Siradj is the newly elected leader of Indonesia’s largest independent Muslim organization and one of the world’s most influential Islamic organizations, Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), or ‘Awakening of Scholars’. Nahdlatul Ulama maintains an expansive network that covers 30 regions, 2,630 representative councils and 37,125 sub-branch representative councils across Indonesia. Nahdlatul Ulama has made substantial charitable contributions to Indonesian society in the fields of educational development, health care, and poverty alleviation. Dr. Siradj previously served on Indonesia’s National Commission for Human Rights and was the founder of the Said Aqil Centre in Egypt, a study centre that focuses on developing Islamic discourse, particularly in the Arab world.

Dr. Robert A. Schuller

Dr. Robert A. Schuller is Chairman and Principal of Comstar Media and a lifelong evangelist. He is the author of 14 books including his bestseller, When You are Down to Nothing, God is Up to Something. He was formerly the minister on the “Hour of Power” television program viewed by more then 20 million people weekly around the world. Dr. Schuller is a member of GPF’s Global Leadership Council. Dr. Schuller was awarded a Doctorate Degree by the National Hispanic University for his charity work in Mexico and in 2008 was awarded another Doctorate Degree by the California Graduate School of Theology for his extensive work in ministry.

Dr. Markandey Rai

Dr. Markandey Rai is Senior Advisor of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT). Dr. Rai is also Chairperson of the Joint Advisory Committee, which advises UN offices at Nairobi (UNON) on administrative issues. He has served UN-HABITAT in various roles for seventeen years and was elected President of the Nairobi Staff Union 2000-2003. In January of 2006 he was the recipient of the Hind Rattan Award. Dr. Rai has served on the boards of academic, cultural, and social bodies in different countries. In 2009 he addressed EU presidency seminar at the Swedish Parliament in Stockholm and Global Parliamentarians on Habitat conference in Washington, DC. Dr. Rai is a member of GPF’s Global Leadership Council.

Founder and President Emeritus of International Center for Religion and Diplomacy

Dr. Douglas Johnston

Dr. Douglas Johnston is the Founder and President Emeritus of the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy. He is a distinguished graduate of the US Naval Academy and holds a Masters degree in Public Administration and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Harvard University. He has a broad range of executive experience, including assignments in government as Director of Policy Planning and Management in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and later as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy. In academia, he taught international affairs and security at Harvard University and was the founder and first director of the Kennedy School’s Executive Program in National and International Security. In the military, he served in the U.S. nuclear submarine service and is a Captain in the Naval Reserve. Most recently, Dr. Johnston served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies.

National Senator of Republic of Paraguay (2004-Present)

Hon. Lilian Samaniego

Hon. Lilian Samaniego is a National Senator, Chamber of Senators, in the Republic of Paraguay. She earned her Doctor in Biochemistry from the National University of Asunción. She joined the Colorado Party in 1982, the largest political party in Paraguay, and is currently the party’s president as well as president of the Central Commission of Women of the Colorado Party. She is serving her third term as a national senator.

H.E. Marco Vinicio Cerezo

After surviving numerous attempts upon his life and after more than 20 years of fighting for democracy, Vinicio Cerezeo led the process to restore the democratic and institutional process in Guatemala, becoming the first president of the modern democratic era. He believes in dialog and consultation. As president, he was the creator, sponsor and one of the signers of the Esquipulas I and II Peace Agreements which led to peace throughout Central America. During his presidency he established an era of respect for human rights, economic recovery in times of war, a vision of sustainable development and other significant advances. Today Vinicio Cerezo is well known as Central America’s goodwill ambassador, as he continues to drive and promote the process of regional integration, the rule of law and inclusive development. A founding member of the Latin American Presidential Mission, he also belongs to numerous other organizations and institutes, most especially the Esquipulas Foundation for the Integration of Central America, which he leads. In 2012, he received the prestigious Good Governance Award granted by the Global Peace Foundation during its annual convention in Atlanta, USA.

Presiding Bishop of National Convention of the Assemblies of God, Brazil

Bishop Dr. Manoel Ferreira

Bishop Manoel Ferreira is the presiding bishop of the National Convention of the Assemblies of God in Brazil, the highest representative body of evangelical leaders from Latin America, with more than 20,000 affiliated pastors. He previously served as president and chair of numerous Assemblies of God churches and as a lecturer in Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and the United States. Bishop Ferreira coordinates dozens of social institutions in Brazil which provide medical, educational, and social support for recovering addicts, the elderly and street children. He served in Brazil’s National Congress from 2006-2012 and is the recipient of numerous awards for his service to his country and people. Bishop Ferreira was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009.

Dr. Manilal Chandaria (OBE KBE)

Dr. Manilal Chandaria is the Chairman and CEO of Comcraft Group, a business conglomerate that oversees operations in over 40 countries throughout the world. Hailed as one of Kenya’s leading industrialists, Dr. Chandaria is respected and known for his extensive charitable work and contributions to the community.

A founding chairman of the East African Business Council, he is also a former Chairman of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers and has been recognized as the most respected Chief Executive Officer in East Africa for three consecutive. Over the course of his career, he has served on various government commissions for reducing poverty, promoting economic development and reforming the government.

Passionate about youth and education, he has created the Chandaria Foundation which has endowed Chandaria School of Business at USIU, and Chandaria Business Innovation and Incubation Centre at Kenyatta University to help students nurture their skills and knowledge. Dr. Chandaria was recognized by the Kenyan government with the Elder of the Order of the Burning Spear and granted the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth in 2003 in recognition for his community work and promotion of Kenyan-British interests.

Dr. Eva Latham

Dr. Eva Latham is President of Human Rights Teaching International. Dr. Latham is a scientific researcher, consultant, and expert in the field of Human Rights. UNESCO recognized her work and innovative method for the teaching of human rights with the prestigious Human Rights Award. Dr. Latham was previously Secretary General of the Dutch Council of Women, an organization representing one million women of all walks of life. She is a member of the Global Peace Foundation’s Global Leadership Council as she also serves on the board of several organizations in different countries around the world.

H.E. Amani Abeid Karume

H.E. Amani Abeid Karume is former President of Zanzibar. He previously served in government office as Chief Treasurer, Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Planning, and Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Communications and Transport. During the 1980s, Hon. Karume worked as a consultant for a British-based business in Zanzibar. He returned to government and politics in 1990 when he was elected to the Zanzibar House of Representatives. In 1995, he was re-elected in multiparty polls.

James P. Flynn

James P. Flynn serves as International President of the Global Peace Foundation (GPF), where he has led global programs, partnerships, and operations since 2013. Based in the Washington, D.C., area, he oversees the strategic direction and projects of more than twenty GPF field affiliates and global initiatives, advancing values-based peacebuilding, leadership development, and community-driven efforts worldwide.

With more than four decades of experience across the nonprofit, civic, and policy sectors, Mr. Flynn works at the intersection of ethical governance, social cohesion, and cross-sector collaboration. During his leadership tenure, GPF has expanded its global impact through peacebuilding initiatives across Africa, ethical and civic leadership programs in Latin America, youth leadership and character development efforts throughout Asia, and international engagement supporting a free and unified Korean Peninsula.

These initiatives engage a broad range of governmental, civil society, and international partners, including ongoing collaboration with national ministries and multinational organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme and the African Union.

Aya Goto

Aya Goto serves as International Senior Vice President of Program Development and Implementation, Treasurer, and Secretary at the Global Peace Foundation (GPF), based in Washington State, USA. Born in Kobe, Japan, he grew up in Tokyo. In 1989, he graduated from Keio University, where he majored in environmental chemistry.

Mr. Goto has extensive leadership experience with international nonprofit organizations. He joined GPF as International Vice President of Field Operations, serving in that role from 2009 to 2016. From 2016 to 2026, he served as Senior Vice President of Field Operations, supervising field affiliates and supporting program development and implementation worldwide.

He has organized and managed international conferences, social programs, and festivals in more than 15 countries. In addition, he has served as Representative Director of Global Peace Foundation Japan since 2012 and holds board, trustee, or legal membership roles with GPF-affiliated organizations in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Nigeria.

Daniel Bessell

Daniel Bessell serves as Vice President of Operations at the Global Peace Foundation (GPF), where he drives organizational performance, operational strategy, and cross-functional execution of global initiatives.

With extensive international experience, Daniel has successfully led complex programs and large-scale initiatives. His expertise encompasses strategic planning, budget optimization, vendor management, contract negotiation, talent acquisition, and data systems integration.

Known for his strategic yet hands-on leadership approach, Daniel excels at identifying and eliminating operational inefficiencies that hinder organizational growth. Alan Inman

Mr. Alan Inman previously served as President of Global Peace Foundation-USA, headquartered in Washington, D.C., and currently serves as Senior Advisor. Throughout his career, Mr. Inman has been dedicated to family and community-strengthening initiatives and to representing the highest values of integrity and fiscal responsibility in public life.

His dedication to these efforts was exemplified by his service as National Director for the Institute for Responsible Fatherhood, where he led programming in 11 locations throughout the United States; as a consultant to the City of New York; and as Chairman of a New York City Community Planning Board.

He has been a candidate for the New York State Assembly, and in response to the 1991 Los Angeles Rodney King incident, he was appointed to a White House Domestic Advisory Council to consider how the country could address police-community challenges. He hosted a weekly radio talk show, Insight with Al Inman, for more than five years and is the author of the popular book The Colors of Love.

Jeremy Graham

Mr. Jeremy Graham helps drive strategic coordination and operational execution at the Global Peace Foundation (GPF), advancing leadership priorities and strategic initiatives across the Foundation’s core areas of work. Serving as Chief of Staff to the International President, he works across teams and initiatives to help move organizational priorities forward, coordinate execution, and solve operational and strategic challenges. He plays a central role in translating vision into coordinated action and strengthening organizational effectiveness in support of global programs.

Prior to his work in the nonprofit sector, Jeremy served for 15 years in the U.S. Army, concluding his service as a Major. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, he was commissioned as an Infantry Officer and deployed to Afghanistan, gaining experience in complex operational environments and mission-focused leadership.

At GPF, Mr. Graham’s work spans organization-wide initiatives while providing focused leadership in two strategic areas: the development of emerging leaders and efforts advancing a free and unified Korea.

Vice President for Religious Freedom Initiatives

Dr. Paul Murray

Dr. Paul Murray is Vice President for Religious Freedom Initiatives at the Global Peace Foundation (GPF), where he leads global engagement advancing freedom of religion, belief, and conscience. He works with government officials, civil society leaders, and faith-based organizations across more than 30 countries, including strategic engagement with U.S. government agencies, multilateral bodies, and policymakers to promote values-based peacebuilding and defend fundamental human rights.

Dr. Murray serves in senior leadership roles within key international coalitions, including as Vice Chair of the International Religious Freedom Secretariat and Co-Chair of the International Religious Freedom Roundtable, coordinating strategic global advocacy efforts.

In addition to his international work, Dr. Murray is an Adjunct Professor at Indiana Wesleyan University, where he teaches graduate-level leadership and equips emerging leaders with principles grounded in ethical decision-making and servant leadership.

An ordained minister with more than three decades of ministry experience, Dr. Murray bridges faith and public policy with clarity and conviction. He is an award-winning author and contributor to outlets including The Christian Post, Daily Wire, UPI, and European publications, and is a frequent speaker on religious freedom, human dignity, and international cooperation.

Dr. Murray holds a doctorate in pastoral leadership from Howard University’s School of Divinity, along with graduate degrees from Liberty University.

Dr. Tony Devine, Ed.D.

Dr. Tony Devine, with over 40 years of NGO leadership experience, spearheads education transformation as a cornerstone for moral, prosperous societies. Collaborating with ministries of education, schools, and universities in Kenya, the Philippines, Uganda, India, Paraguay, and beyond, he works to align curricula with workforce needs while cultivating virtuous citizens.

His Blueprint for Transforming Education reshapes systems across numerous Global South nations, impacting educators and schools. Key programs include the Character and Creativity Initiative, which fosters ethical leadership; Leap Hubs, which ignite entrepreneurship; Great Places to School, which honors holistic schools; the Transforming Education Online Course, which scales values-based training; and Transforming Education in the Global South: Toward 2050, which redefines education for lifelong character and holistic development.

David Caprara

Mr. David Caprara serves as Strategic Advisor and former International Vice President with the Global Peace Foundation (GPF). His voluntary support includes mentorship and partnership development with the Global Peace Leadership Corps, with a focus on environmental peacebuilding. He also serves as the Nepal Country Representative for Sister Cities International and co-founded the Fredericksburg-Kathmandu sister city with his wife, Collette, and other civic leaders following the 2015 earthquake.

David previously served for 12 years as a Nonresident Fellow with the Brookings Institution, assessing and promoting international volunteering and service. He also served as a Senior Executive in two U.S. administrations, including as Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and Director of VISTA Volunteers at the Corporation for National and Community Service, overseeing 6,000 volunteers across the country.

He advanced multi-stakeholder support for the launch of the Global Peace and Development Service Alliance in Africa and Asia, further supporting the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

John Dickson

Mr. John Dickson is a Senior Advisor for Economy and Government Relations at the Global Peace Foundation (GPF). He has founded World Trade Centers in Okinawa and Afghanistan and advised on others, most recently in Georgetown, Guyana.

Mr. Dickson was the Founding Chairman of the World Trade Centers Association’s Committee on Peace and Stability through Trade, organizing initiatives that highlight the contribution of the private sector to peace and stability. He serves on the executive committee of the UN’s Alliance of CSOs and NGOs for South-South Cooperation and on the boards of several significant civil society organizations, including the Latin American Presidential Mission.

Director of African Peace Initiative and Engagement

Rev. Canice Chinyeaka Enyiaka, Ph.D.

Rev. Fr. Canice Chinyeaka Enyiaka serves as Director of African Peace Initiative and Engagement at the Global Peace Foundation (GPF) headquarters in Washington, D.C. He received his Ph.D. from Howard University, majoring in development studies and public policy, with a focus on peacebuilding and human security, contemporary Africa, and human-centered development.

He is an Adjunct Faculty Member in the African Studies Department at Howard University, is affiliated with many peacebuilding organizations, and is a Sasakawa Fellow. Rev. Fr. Canice is a committed peacebuilding researcher and practitioner. He organizes, moderates, and participates in development, interfaith, and community-driven peacebuilding programs and conferences, both locally and internationally.

He researches and engages scholars and frontline practitioners on religion in conflict, peacebuilding, and human security. His work explores the intersection of religious values and socio-political engagement in contemporary Africa.

Director of Northeast Asia Initiatives

Yeqing Li

Mr. Yeqing Li is the Director of Northeast Asia Initiatives and Senior Fellow at the Global Peace Foundation (GPF). He previously served as Director of the Office of Strategic Initiatives.

Mr. Li is also the Founding President of the China Society and Co-Founder and President of the Global Young Leaders Academy. His previous roles include Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Center for China and Globalization, consultant at the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group, and Executive Director of the International Young Leaders Assembly, which empowered over 10,000 emerging leaders from more than 150 countries.

He holds a B.A. in sociology from Peking University and an MBA from Georgetown University.

Takae Goto

Takae Goto is the Director of Communications at the Global Peace Foundation (GPF), where she leads strategic communications, digital growth, and team development across a globally connected organization.

Since joining GPF in 2021, Takae has built and scaled a high-performing communications team, modernized the organization’s digital infrastructure, and driven meaningful growth in audience engagement and brand presence. Her work spans content strategy, platform management, and global field affiliate coordination, turning complex priorities into narratives that resonate across diverse international audiences.

With a people-first approach to leadership, Takae invests in team capacity, fosters a culture of collaboration, and builds systems that are both scalable and sustainable. Beyond her professional work, she is passionate about child and family psychology and volunteers with community organizations dedicated to empowering families to thrive across generations.

Director of Resource Development

Tahir Sakhi

Tahir Sakhi serves as Director of Resource Development at the Global Peace Foundation (GPF) headquarters in Washington, D.C., where he leads the organization’s resource mobilization strategy, securing funding, cultivating strategic partnerships, and positioning global programs for scale and long-term sustainability.

With over 18 years of international leadership experience, Mr. Sakhi has a strong track record of designing and delivering complex, multi-country programs across terrorism prevention, peacebuilding, governance, education, and youth leadership development. He has successfully mobilized and managed high-value donor portfolios, strengthened institutional systems, and led cross-sector collaborations that translate policy priorities into measurable impact, particularly in fragile and high-risk environments.

As a targeted violence and terrorism prevention practitioner, he has partnered extensively with governments, multilateral institutions, and civil society to implement results-driven initiatives that address drivers of instability and strengthen community resilience. He is recognized for building high-performing teams and aligning operational execution with strategic objectives.

Prior to joining GPF, he held senior roles with Oxfam, Humanity & Inclusion, UNICEF, UNDP, AECOM, ICMA, and Creative Associates International.

Program Manager

Rev. Mark Farr

Rev. Mark Farr brings more than 30 years of experience in international dialogue, campus engagement, and conflict transformation to his work with the Global Peace Foundation, where he oversees global youth leadership and peacebuilding programs in around 20 countries.
He serves as Vice President and is a Founding Board Member of the John Lewis Institute of Peace. Until 2022, Mark was President of the Sustained Dialogue Institute on Capitol Hill, where he was engaged in both international and domestic dialogue initiatives, including international dialogue efforts between the United States and Russia, among other conflict areas.

Prior to that, he was President and CEO of the Faith and Politics Institute, the organization closely associated with the legendary civil rights leader Congressman John Lewis. Earlier in his career, he served as a Senior Director at President George H.W. Bush’s Points of Light Foundation, and before that, on the staff of General Colin Powell’s nonprofit, America’s Promise.

Ordained in 1987 from St John’s College, Durham, UK, Mark is also an Episcopal priest. He qualified in 1994 as a Systemic Psychotherapist from Kensington Consultation Centre in London.

Mark is a keen painter and musician, and currently resides in Silver Spring, Maryland with his beloved Irish Setter, Riley.

CRM & Development Manager

Nicole Punzi

Nicole Punzi works across the Resource Development and Administrative Services teams at the Global Peace Foundation (GPF). She manages data and reporting and leads the technical development, expansion, training, and maintenance of the organization’s CRM database. This includes identifying technical solutions that help teams integrate existing workflows and software to effectively manage stakeholders, events, projects, donors, tasks, and more.

She also supports project and proposal development in the areas of youth, civic engagement, and countering violent extremism, providing technical writing, donor engagement, and monitoring and evaluation expertise across GPF’s global portfolio.

Prior to joining GPF, Nicole contributed to the capacity building of grassroots peacebuilding organizations in Israel and Palestine and conducted research on the intersection of food, peace, and women in diaspora communities.

Nicole received her bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Maryland, College Park, and her master’s degree in public policy, with a focus on conflict resolution and mediation, from Tel Aviv University.

Jennifer Kristy

Jennifer Kristy serves as HR Generalist at the Global Peace Foundation (GPF), where she helps strengthen organizational effectiveness through talent management, employee engagement, onboarding, and learning and development. Drawing on her expertise in analytics and systems, she supports effective HR operations, data-informed decision-making, and processes that enhance both the employee and organizational experience. She is known for her ability to connect with people, build positive working relationships, and deliver responsive, high-quality support to staff and partners.

Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Connecticut and a master’s degree in Analytics and Systems from the University of Bridgeport. She brings more than 20 years of progressive experience leading teams, managing operations, and supporting organizational effectiveness across higher education, customer service operations, and nonprofit administration.

Passionate about making work easier and more rewarding for both staff and partners, Jennifer enjoys hiking and daily walks, exploring watercolor and photography, and spending time with her dog, Stormy.

Senior Program Specialist on Values-based Peacebuidling

Gail Hambleton

Gail Hambleton serves as Senior Program Specialist for Values-Based Peacebuilding at the Global Peace Foundation (GPF). Ms. Hambleton has worked in the nonprofit sector for more than 25 years and has served as an educator, mediator in international conflict situations, and convener of interreligious networks and engagements.

She lived and worked in Africa for eight years, serving in the mission and humanitarian aid fields. Her passion for peace is rooted in her difficult experiences during six years of war in Zimbabwe, the military coup in Kenya, and the aftermath of genocide in Rwanda.

Ms. Hambleton was instrumental in establishing the humanitarian aid organization Women for Women in Rwanda in 1997. She has coordinated values-based peacebuilding tracks at annual Global Peace Conventions and conferences in the Philippines, Kenya, the United States, Malaysia, Paraguay, Uganda, and Korea.

Gail is the mother of three children and lives with her husband in Baltimore, Maryland.

Program Specialist, Northeast Asia Freedom, and Human Rights

Kenji Sawai

Kenji Sawai is Senior Program Specialist for Freedom and Human Rights at the Global Peace Foundation (GPF), where he leverages over two decades of international NGO experience to advocate for North Korean human rights. Since moving from Japan to the United States in 2003, Mr. Sawai has driven high-impact leadership initiatives, including the International Young Leaders Assembly.

In his current role, he coordinates international events, including forums for North Korea Freedom Week in Seoul and Washington, D.C., as an active member of the North Korea Freedom Coalition. Notably, he served as a key coordinator for the landmark One Dream One Korea commemoration at the Lincoln Memorial, marking the 70th anniversary of Korean Liberation Day.

Mr. Sawai also serves as an advisor to Alliance for Korea United Washington and Action for Korea United–Japan, and he has been instrumental in international advocacy efforts supporting the 93,340 victims of the Korean-Japanese repatriation program. He has collaborated with numerous organizations and regularly lectures on human rights advocacy to Korean diaspora and broader international communities.

His dedicated service has been recognized with awards from the Peaceful Unification Advisory Council Washington Chapter in 2017 and 2023. He is fluent in Japanese, Korean, and English.

Sharleen E. Tomobe

Sharleen Tomobe is a founding member of Global Peace Foundation (GPF) Philippines and a long-standing leader in the organization’s growth and strategic direction. She has served in multiple key leadership roles, including Executive Director, Corporate Secretary, Treasurer, and currently Trustee.

With nearly three decades of experience in youth leadership development, project and event management, and governance, she has contributed significantly to designing and scaling programs that deliver measurable, meaningful, and long-term impact across GPF field affiliates in Asia. Sharleen is recognized for her ability to build collaborative ecosystems, strengthen institutional capacity, and advance character-based leadership and ethical governance. She brings a mission-driven, culturally competent approach that consistently translates vision into scalable and replicable impact.

Since 2009, Sharleen has led the development of GPF Philippines’ inaugural peace education initiatives for youth, including GlobALS with the Department of Education, Peace Education under the National Service Training Program, and Hands for Peace with higher education institutions and partner organizations. These programs laid the foundation for GPF Philippines’ expanded multi-sector partnerships that continue to benefit schools, communities, and local governments nationwide.

Her leadership extends globally through her roles at HQ as Program Development Coordinator, Manager for Transforming Education, and currently Assistant Manager for Program Development and Implementation. Based in Japan, she also serves on the GPF Japan Board.

Shraddha KC

Shraddha KC is a communications assistant manager and storyteller passionate about using media and digital strategy to inspire positive social change. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Washington, where she strengthened her foundation in strategic communication, storytelling, and community-centered engagement.

At the Global Peace Foundation, she leads creative communications and digital campaigns that connect local impact with a global vision—sharing stories of transformation in education, youth leadership, peacebuilding, and civic engagement.

With a background in digital media and communications, Shraddha brings a creative and people-centered approach to storytelling. Her work spans Africa, Asia, and the Americas, where she collaborates with diverse communities and partners to amplify voices, strengthen engagement, and highlight the power of values-based leadership and collective action.

Based in Seattle, Shraddha enjoys exploring how communication can build bridges across cultures and inspire communities to imagine and create a better future together. Through thoughtful storytelling and strategic campaigns, she aims to make global conversations feel more personal, hopeful, and action-driven.

Aldrin Nituma

Aldrin Nituma serves as the GPF Field Affiliate Support and Development Coordinator, focusing on strengthening the operational capacity and leadership of priority field affiliates across Asia and Africa. Previously the Executive Director of GPF Philippines, he brings 10 years of practical executive experience to his current role, helping ensure that local operations are resilient and mission-aligned.

An engineer by training with a Master of Management, majoring in business management, Aldrin has further specialized in nonprofit excellence through advanced training in results-based management (RBM), institutional risk management, financial stewardship, and NPO governance.

His work is guided by the core principles of financial transparency, active policy implementation, and timely compliance, with a strong focus on leadership development, sharing best practices, and fostering active collaboration across the global GPF network.

Regional Representative for Africa; Field Representative for Kenya

Daniel Juma Omondi

Daniel Juma Omondi is the GPF Regional Representative for Africa and Field Representative for Kenya. Daniel is a seasoned peacebuilding, governance, and public policy leader with more than 20 years of experience in conflict prevention, social cohesion, civic engagement, and development diplomacy.

Daniel has led major initiatives promoting peaceful elections, interfaith and interethnic dialogue, youth leadership, education reform, and inclusive governance across Africa. Under his leadership, GPF Kenya has grown into one of Kenya’s leading peacebuilding organizations, implementing impactful programs such as National Youth Peace Camps and the #ResilientKenya peaceful elections campaign.

He works closely with governments, parliamentary institutions, faith leaders, civil society, and international partners on democratic resilience, conflict prevention, and youth empowerment. Daniel also brings firsthand political experience, having contested the 2019 Ugenya Constituency parliamentary by-election in Kenya.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and Korean studies, as well as a diploma in international studies from the University of Nairobi. He is also certified in Foundations in Mass Atrocity Prevention by the Auschwitz Institute for the Prevention of Genocide and Mass Atrocities in New York.

Regional Representative for Asia Pacific

Dr. Ingill Ra

Dr. In-gill Ra is the Regional Representative for Asia Pacific at the Global Peace Foundation and the Secretary General of the Indo-Pacific Peace Forum (IPPF). A prominent international peacebuilder with a doctorate in public administration, Dr. Ra integrates high-level governance experience from past roles with FIFA, AFC, and the UN FAO into his strategic initiatives. Under his leadership, the IPPF serves as a Track II diplomacy platform, facilitating monthly dialogues that unite cross-sector leaders to champion universal principles, cultivate regional solidarity, and mitigate geopolitical tensions.

As a lecturer with higher education institutions in the Philippines, Dr. Ra champions values-based peace education as a vital catalyst for national transformation, regularly addressing major events such as the Global Youth Summit. Connecting these regional efforts, he promotes the Korean Dream movement as a strategic blueprint, leveraging its values-based framework to support the national transformation process of countries across the Indo-Pacific. He demonstrates that these shared moral principles serve as the foundation for achieving regional stability and peace under the vision of “One Family under God.”

Regional Representative for Latin America

Dr. Thomas Field (h.c.)

Dr. Thomas R. Field has dedicated four decades to building peace, democratic culture, and values-based leadership across Latin America and the Caribbean. Born and raised in New Jersey, his journey of service took him from missionary work throughout the Americas to long-term residency in the Bahamas, Argentina, Chile, and Paraguay, where he has lived for nearly two decades.

In Paraguay, Dr. Field co-founded Global Peace Foundation Paraguay, Instituto Patria Soñada, and the Latin American & Caribbean Presidential Mission — a network of more than thirty former heads of state committed to democratic governance, economic freedom, and mentoring emerging leaders. These organizations have earned broad recognition for transforming education and empowering communities rooted in faith and service.

He and his wife, Cristina, are the parents of six children and have spent their lives building family and community together. A lifelong lover of language, he recently published “Book of Inspirational Gems,” a treasury of poetry, scripture, and historical speeches that reflect his conviction that inner formation and inspired leadership are inseparable.

In 2025, Universidad Privada María Serrana in Asunción awarded him an honorary doctorate — Doctor Honoris Causa — in recognition of his lifelong commitment to peace and service throughout the Americas.

Regional Representative for South Asia

Ram Panta

Ram Rohan Panta, Regional Representative for South Asia at the Global Peace Foundation, is a social impact, youth, environmental, and technology activist with extensive leadership experience in NGOs focused on children’s education, youth rights, and peacebuilding. Over the past decade, he has worked in international development, social entrepreneurship, leadership development, disaster relief, and the use of technology to improve NGO operations. He has held leadership roles across various organizations and was recognized with the 2022 Dean of International Peace Prize by World Without Anger. He is also a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology in the UK.

Regional Representative for Central America

Olinda Salguero

Olinda Salguero is a Guatemalan and Central American leader recognized for her longstanding work advancing peace, democracy, regional integration, and social transformation across Latin America. She currently serves as Vice President of the Latin American Presidential Mission, President of Fundación Esquipulas, and Central America Representative of the Global Peace Foundation. Based in Guatemala, she promotes initiatives focused on civic leadership, democratic values, social cohesion, and regional cooperation.

Ms. Salguero has been recognized on three occasions by Forbes as one of the “100 Most Powerful Women in Central America and the Dominican Republic,” highlighting her years of public service and regional leadership.

From 2017 to 2021, she served as Chief of Staff of the General Secretariat of the Central American Integration System (SICA), where she played a key role in strengthening regional cooperation and advancing initiatives related to integration, governance, and sustainable development.

Ms. Salguero holds a master’s degree in integration and development and a master’s degree in media communication. Throughout her career, she has prioritized working with emerging leaders, youth, and women, promoting their active participation in democratic processes, peacebuilding, and social transformation initiatives across the region.

As an international speaker and strategist, she is widely recognized throughout Latin America for her work on democracy, regional integration, social cohesion, and global cooperation. She has participated in high-level forums, academic conferences, and international initiatives across the Americas and beyond.

Field Representative for Brazil

Massimo Trombin

Mr. Massimo Trombin, Field Representative for the Global Peace Foundation Brazil, Instituto Global da Paz, since 2011, is a multifaceted leader dedicated to fostering global development and peace.

With more than 40 years of experience, he has led impactful projects in 63 countries, including humanitarian efforts during the Balkan wars and rehabilitation programs in Uganda. His work spans youth development, community service, and international cooperation across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. He has also developed training programs that promote volunteerism and social responsibility.

Currently, Mr. Trombin builds partnerships across public, private, and nonprofit sectors to address the Sustainable Development Goals, migration, and community safety. His recent initiatives include youth entrepreneurship programs in Africa and environmental projects in Brazil, reinforcing his vision of inclusive and sustainable global progress.

Previously, he directed an international aid organization based in Rome and Luxembourg, overseeing 17 branches across Europe and Africa. Educated at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, with studies in sociology at the University of Urbino and a diploma from Harvard University, Mr. Trombin combines artistic, social, and academic perspectives in his work.

Field Representative for Indonesia

Shintya Rahmi Utami

Shintya Rahmi Utami (Tya) is an Indonesian nonprofit leader with over 14 years of experience in program management, strategic partnerships, youth empowerment, and community development initiatives. She currently serves as Field Representative for Global Peace Foundation Indonesia, where she leads organizational operations and oversees impactful programs focused on leadership development, peacebuilding, interfaith collaboration, education, volunteerism, and social development across Indonesia. Under her leadership, the organization has strengthened collaborations with government institutions, corporations, educational institutions, and civil society organizations to create sustainable community impact.

Tya completed her MBA at Institut Teknologi Bandung and is also a social entrepreneur in the fields of tourism and student exchange. Passionate about cross-cultural and interfaith collaboration, she has dedicated her career to mentoring young leaders, empowering communities, and developing innovative initiatives that promote social responsibility, mutual understanding, and positive change in diverse communities.

Field Representative for Malaysia

Dr. Su Thye Teh

Dr. Teh Su-Thye is a medical doctor turned social entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience working alongside marginalized communities across Malaysia. As Field Representative for Global Peace Foundation Malaysia, he has led community transformation programs with the Orang Asli indigenous communities — bringing clean water, solar electrification, and values-based education to over 2,500 families.

His work centers on nature-based solutions that restore both land and livelihoods. Through Syntropic Agroforestry — a regenerative approach that rebuilds soil health, biodiversity, and food systems — Orang Asli communities are building economic sovereignty and genuine self-sufficiency. These initiatives are designed around Orang Asli self-determination: communities as stewards, producers, and decision-makers in their own development.

Field Representative for Mongolia

Ganbat Gonchigsuren

Mr. Ganbat Gonchigsuren is the Founder and Field Representative of GPF Mongolia. An activist and leader, Mr. Ganbat has spearheaded multiple community development initiatives, projects, and organizations throughout his career.

Since 2014, he has directed Youth for Regional Peace and Prosperity (Y4RP), a leading annual youth social entrepreneurship project contest that also raises awareness among young people about the importance of peace and security in Northeast Asia. To date, 22 universities, 136 teams, and 346 university students have participated.

Mr. Ganbat has also been piloting the Community-Driven Street Development Project in Darkhan City since 2013. Previously, he served as a Member of the Darkhan-Uul Province Assembly, Chairman of the Auditing Committee of the Darkhan City Urban Planning and Development Policy Committee, and Chairman of the Board of the Darkhan Industrial Technology Park.

He holds an M.A. in political science and public administration.

Field Representative for Nigeria

Rev. John Joseph Hayab

Rev. Joseph John Hayab is the Field Representative for GPF Nigeria. He has served as the Resident Pastor of several Baptist churches in northern Nigeria since 1996 and as Chairman and member of the boards of trustees of various NGOs in Nigeria. Rev. J.J. Hayab currently serves as the Kaduna State Coordinator of the Faith Actors Dialogue Forum (FADF).

As a clergyman, he has been a member of the Kaduna State Inter-Religious Harmony Committee for over 25 years. From 2010 to 2015, he served as Special Adviser on Religious Affairs, Christian Matters, to two former governors of Kaduna State.

He is the current Chairman of the Northern Christian Association for the 19 States and the Federal Capital Territory. Rev. Hayab is an alumnus of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) on interfaith leadership and human rights.

Rev. Hayab has received numerous awards, including the Global Peace Interfaith Leadership Award in Manila, Philippines, in 2017.

Leonard Faustino

Leonard Faustino has spent more than two decades working alongside international organizations, corporations, communities, schools, and partners to create opportunities that empower young people and underserved communities. Throughout his journey, he has built strong collaborations with organizations and institutions locally and internationally, believing that meaningful change happens when people work together for the greater good.

Known for his people-centered and collaborative leadership, Leonard has led and supported programs focused on youth leadership, peacebuilding, education, volunteerism, and community development. He was also part of the organizing team behind some of the largest youth gatherings in the Philippines, bringing together more than 100,000 young people to inspire service, leadership, and collective action.

Under his leadership, the All-Lights Village Program has helped bring sustainable solar-powered solutions to underserved and off-grid communities across the Philippines. Through the initiative, thousands of families have gained access to electricity, safer spaces, and better opportunities for learning and community development.

For Leonard, leadership has always been about service: creating spaces where communities feel seen, supported, and empowered to build a better future together.

Field Representative for South Korea

In-Teak Seo

Mr. In-Teak Seo serves as the Field Representative for Global Peace Foundation Korea and Co-Chairman of Action for Korea United (AKU), spearheading movements for peace and unification on the Korean Peninsula. In particular, he has overseen the overarching strategy and execution of AKU’s initiatives.

To spread the Korean Dream, a vision for a unified Korea championed by Dr. Hyun Jin Preston Moon, Mr. Seo has delivered over 400 lectures in Korea and abroad. Through these efforts, AKU has grown into South Korea’s largest grassroots civic movement, transcending political and ideological divides.

Recognizing the need to engage younger generations, Mr. Seo has championed cultural movements to raise awareness about unification. He has produced and released new unification anthems featuring top K-pop stars and organized large-scale music concerts drawing tens of thousands of participants, sparking significant public interest.

Since 2022, he has directed the planning and operation of the 10-Million Korean Dream Campaign, culminating in the successful Korean Dream Han River Festival in 2025 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation.

Building on this momentum, he has recently launched the Citizens’ Solidarity for One Korea movement to drive an even more powerful civic campaign. Concurrently, he is leading a nationwide fundraising effort for Korea Link, a unification broadcasting initiative dedicated to sharing vital information with North Korea.

Field Representative for Tanzania

Hussein Sengu

Hussein Faraji Sengu is a seasoned peacebuilding and legal practitioner, professional educator, and international development leader with over 18 years of experience in regional program management, conflict transformation, and gender-responsive advocacy. He currently serves as the Field Representative for Global Peace Foundation Tanzania, where he leads high-impact initiatives across East Africa and the IGAD region, including a multi-country UNDP-funded project focused on engaging religious and community leaders in peacebuilding.

A public international lawyer and advocate of the High Court, Hussein has built a distinguished career bridging high-level policy advocacy and grassroots community engagement. His expertise is rooted in a unique blend of legal rigor and pedagogical skill. As a professional teacher with a diploma in education, he uses participatory methodologies, design thinking, and co-creation labs to foster social inclusion. He is the Founder of the National Coalition for Peace and Conflict Transformation (NCPCT) in Tanzania and serves as an International Board Member for Many United Against Hate in Wisconsin, USA.

Throughout his career, Hussein has held senior leadership roles with international organizations, including serving as Area Manager and Project Coordinator for Search for Common Ground (SFCG) and Deputy Chief of Party for PILPG. He has a proven track record of designing and implementing complex frameworks for the EU, USAID, and the U.S. State Department, notably leading the “Jenga Amani” and “Kwa Pamoja” projects. A recognized expert in gender and social inclusion, he is currently working with the government of Tanzania, UN Women, and other stakeholders in the formulation of the National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security (WPS).

Hussein is a 2022 alumnus of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), focused on community strategies for preventing violent extremism. His technical proficiency spans the Common Ground Approach (CGA), theory-of-change refinement, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL). He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Iringa University and a postgraduate diploma in legal practice from the Law School of Tanzania. Beyond his consultancy work, he is a prolific writer on peace and development, sharing insights through his digital platform at husseinsengu.wordpress.com.

Field Representative for Uganda

Milton Kambula

Kambula Milton is a peacebuilder, community organizer, environmental advocate, human rights advocate, and values-based leadership practitioner with more than 16 years of experience working with the Global Peace Foundation. His work focuses on peacebuilding, education transformation, entrepreneurship, community mobilization, family strengthening, and leadership development across Uganda and Africa.

As an educational, transformational, and leadership consultant, Kambula has worked with families, kingdoms, interfaith councils, political parties, civil society organizations, businesses, schools, media, regional bodies, and local communities. In 2017, he was appointed a Diplomat of the International Association of Educators for World Peace, a UN Peace Messenger Programme. He previously served as a Foreign National Security Specialist and U.S. military contractor in Iraq, where he received the Recon Military Award from the U.S. Army.

Kambula has helped organize major peace and leadership convenings, including the 2018 Global Peace Leadership Conference in East Africa and the 2024 Interreligious Family Festival at Kololo Independence Grounds. He also supports the Africa Leadership Mission and youth leadership initiatives across the continent.

He holds a master’s degree in leadership and governance from Makerere University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ndejje University.
