Dr. Paul Murray is Vice President for Religious Freedom Initiatives at the Global Peace Foundation (GPF), where he leads global engagement advancing freedom of religion, belief, and conscience. He works with government officials, civil society leaders, and faith-based organizations across more than 30 countries, including strategic engagement with U.S. government agencies, multilateral bodies, and policymakers to promote values-based peacebuilding and defend fundamental human rights.
Dr. Murray serves in senior leadership roles within key international coalitions, including as Vice Chair of the International Religious Freedom Secretariat and Co-Chair of the International Religious Freedom Roundtable, coordinating strategic global advocacy efforts.
In addition to his international work, Dr. Murray is an Adjunct Professor at Indiana Wesleyan University, where he teaches graduate-level leadership and equips emerging leaders with principles grounded in ethical decision-making and servant leadership.
An ordained minister with more than three decades of ministry experience, Dr. Murray bridges faith and public policy with clarity and conviction. He is an award-winning author and contributor to outlets including The Christian Post, Daily Wire, UPI, and European publications, and is a frequent speaker on religious freedom, human dignity, and international cooperation.
Dr. Murray holds a doctorate in pastoral leadership from Howard University’s School of Divinity, along with graduate degrees from Liberty University.
