More than 200 people gathered at the Sierra Leone Muslim Jamaat during the recent Community Safety Awareness Trainings hosted by the GPF Targeted Violence and Terrorism Project. The sessions were held over three days to give everyone an opportunity to take the training. Attendees said that they were more aware as a result of participating and were interested in future opportunities to help build a safer community. Held September 14-16 in Hyattsville, MD the Jamaat was pleased to also include visitors to the Mosque to participate in the training. Read more
