Global Peace Foundation (GPF) Nepal continues its efforts in transforming education with parenting education, integrated curriculum support, and community collaboration in the schools of Siranchowk Rural Municipality. Rooted in strengthening families and fostering a holistic approach in children’s development, the session brought together parents, teachers, and community leaders for healthy discussion, learning, and reflections.

The Nepal chapter conducted sessions in Tara Secondary School, Sansari Secondary School, and Mandali Secondary School, and saw more than 200 parents, teachers, and community representatives come together for children’s holistic development. Facilitated by counselor Ashok Banjara, the session focused on responsible parenting, children’s emotional and psychological needs, effective communication, and parental well-being.

The participants engaged in fruitful discussions, encouraging parents to reflect not only on techniques but on the deeper values of empathy, patience, and understanding that shape a child’s character and confidence. Parents and teachers both highly appreciated the program and stressed the need for more such programs.
