The “Peace Begins in the Home” International Movement is an initiative of the women’s division of the Global Peace Foundation launched in 2017. Through awareness campaigns and ongoing programs, this international movement seeks to strengthen families through fostering a culture that supports healthy, happy families, and thus, striving to build peace at the heart of every society.

This year, Global Peace Women’s campaign collected more than 1,000 photos and videos world-wide from 14 countries to raise awareness of the value of building peaceful family environments. All individuals, families, students and professionals from around the world are invited to share their own photos supporting the campaign.

To date, more than 5,000 photos have been submitted for the Peace Begins in the Home movement from around the world, demonstrating global support for the strong, healthy families as the foundation of peaceful communities.
