Senator Emanuel Jones has served in the Georgia Senate from the 10th District since 2004. He is currently the secretary of the Interstate Cooperation Committee and also serves on the Finance, Veterans and Military Af- fairs, Urban Affairs and Public Safety and Homeland Security committees. Sen. Jones is currently Chairman of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus and was named one of the “50 Most Influential People” from Who’s Who in Black Atlanta for 2004, 2005 and 2006.
