Rise Nepal’s Udaya Aawas – Transitional Shelter for Quake Relief

#RiseNepal volunteers, a volunteer coordination effort supported by the Global Peace Foundation and members of the Asia Pacific Peace and Development Service Alliance, with the special support of Byond from the United Kingdom visited Chhaimale Village Nepal to build specially designed transitional shelters for villagers who lost their homes in the earthquake that shook Nepal on April 25, 2015, leaving more that 8,000 dead, and tens of thousands more injured. In addition they distributed solar powered lanterns provided by Byond.
