Jun Ai Foundation met with GPF staff on November 15th to prepare for three days of screening for the film Jun Ai, winner of 8 international film festival awards. The Japan-China Collaborative Social Art Film “JUN AI” (10th anniversary since the debut after 8-year production) describes a story of reconciliation and co-existence between Japanese refugees and local people in China during the year 1945. Screenings and exchanges with the actors and producers are set to take place with students and local residents of Washington state November 16th, 18th, and 19th at locations including Edmonds Community College, the University of Washington, and the Japanese Cultural and Community Center.
