Community development is a journey Global Peace Foundation (GPF) Malaysia volunteers undertake together with locals as they work side by side to bring sustainable development to communities in need. While volunteers may start by taking the wheel, they gradually move to the backseat as locals become the drivers that get everyone to their shared destination: community empowerment.

GPF Malaysia is saving and changing lives through clean water initiatives, but it all starts with a formulated Community Engagement Workshop to help create OWNERS of the solution, not just participants in the process.
