More than 40 young people from countries around the world, including Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Columbia, Mongolia and the United States participated in the distribution of solar lanterns in an All Lights Village in the Sukaresmi Village of West Java on August 2.
All Lights Village is a long-term community development program of Global Peace Development. By combining solar technology with clean water solutions, education, income generation and public-private partnerships, the project improves the overall quality of life for rural villages around the world in measurable ways.
The Indonesian service project was made possible through the partnership of Global Peace Foundation’s youth division, Global Peace Youth, Love in Lights and Cheongsu Engineering.
