In a bold move to strengthen religious freedom and shared values across the Americas, the Global Peace Foundation (GPF) and Estamos Unidos (EU) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during a historic gathering at Casa de Dios in Guatemala City. The signing ceremony took place before an audience of over 600 leaders, marking the beginning of a transformative partnership set to influence communities throughout Latin America and the United States.

The new partnership, grounded in shared values and a mutual commitment to peacebuilding, affirms a joint mission to promote freedom of religion and belief, uphold the sanctity of family, and foster cultural cohesion through values-based leadership and community engagement.

The announcement was made during a powerful evening service at Casa de Dios, where more than 12,000 people attended. Dr. Paul Murray, International Vice President for Religious Freedom Initiatives at GPF, was introduced during the service by Pastor Cash Luna and Pastor Raúl Marroquín, both long-time strategic partners in ministry. In his remarks, Dr. Murray reflected on his six-year relationship with both pastors and expressed deep gratitude for their shared vision of building One Family under God.

During the event, Dr. Murray introduced the mission and international impact of the Global Peace Foundation and celebrated the official signing of the MOU with Rev. Cash Luna and Rev. Raúl Marroquín, who represented Estamos Unidos. Their presence underscored the spiritual significance and regional reach of the collaboration.

“This partnership is more than symbolic,” said Dr. Murray. “It is a commitment to mobilize our networks, resources, and relationships to defend religious liberty, empower families, and uplift the moral and spiritual foundation of society. Together, through Estamos Unidos and the Global Peace Foundation, we will speak to both hearts and systems, inspiring transformation from the grassroots to the halls of power.”

The MOU outlines strategic areas of collaboration, including:

  • Promotion and Protection of Religious Freedom
  • Strengthening the Family and Cultural Values
  • Expanding Regional and National Networks
  • Educational and Media Outreach

GPF will contribute global best practices, strategic leadership, and regional partnerships across the Americas, while Estamos Unidos will lead grassroots engagement through its expansive networks of churches, civic leaders, and influencers throughout Latin America and Spanish-speaking communities in the U.S.

Together, the organizations will design joint programming, mobilize culturally relevant campaigns, and pursue shared funding opportunities to advance their goals. Regular biannual meetings and coordinated communication will ensure sustained momentum and measurable impact.

“This agreement builds on a foundation of trust and spiritual alignment developed over many years,” added Rev. Marroquín. “Estamos Unidos is honored to walk together with GPF in this unprecedented collaboration. We are united by a vision, driven by faith, and committed to equipping our communities to be the light in a time of great cultural challenge.”

The signing of this MOU represents a significant milestone for Latin America’s faith and civic sectors, signaling a new era of cooperation rooted in timeless values and the transformative power of faith in action.

As GPF and Estamos Unidos advance this groundbreaking partnership, their combined efforts strongly affirm that faith, family, and freedom are vital to a thriving society. Based on a shared commitment to human dignity and religious liberty, this collaboration aims to inspire renewed civic engagement, strengthen moral leadership, and foster transnational solidarity across the Americas. From the churches of Guatemala to communities throughout Latin America and into the United States, the initiatives launched under this MOU will serve as a beacon, reminding the world that when vision is shared and values are aligned, transformation is not only possible but inevitable.
