The Global Peace Foundation, Department of Education, Diocesian Indigenous People- Tarlac Aeta Mission, and Local Government of Capas partnered to establish the first All-Lights Village in Tarlac Province, Philippines on December 11, 2014. On May 30, 2015 FedEx powered this village located at sitio Flora, Barangay Maruglu, Municipality of Capas with solar street lighting. Volunteers spent the day at the ceremonial installation of street lights and working on various restoration projects–painting and ceiling constuction of the community hall, painting of a mural on a school and leading educational activities with the local children.
