Global Peace Leadership Conference Brazil 2015

The Global Peace Leadership Conference Brazil will be held at the University of Brasília from November 12-13, 2015 on the theme “Development and Integrity through Moral and Innovative Leadership.” Building on the foundation of prior conferences in Asuncion, Paraguay in 2010 and Brasilia, Brazil in 2011, this conference will bring together leaders of government, private industry and the non-profit field. The conference will feature a forum with the Latin America Presidential Mission and three panels on the topics of education, human rights and international relations. Speakers such as former presidents Laura Chinchilla (Costa Rica, 2010-2014), Carlos Mesa (Bolivia, 2003-2005) Luis Alberto Lacalle (Uruguay, 1990-1995) and Vinicio Cerezo (Guatemala, 1985-1991) will interact with the audience to critically reflect on current priorities of the country and collaboratively develop proposals to address important issues facing the nation’s development. The focus of all discussions will be on raising a standard for ethical leadership that can deal with the challenges facing the nation in the coming years.
