On August 16th, IYLA delegates attended a forum at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. The Leadership Program was moderated by Melinda Sanchez, a National Program Associate of Esperanza, with established speakers such as Dr. Wilson Goode, Former Mayor of Philadelphia; Rev. Dr. Malcolm Byrd, who works at the Philadelphia Mayor’s Office of Faith-based Initiatives, and Mr. Kevin McCarthy, Director of Education of the Global Peace Foundation USA.
