Tae-Ik Chung, the Chairman of Korean Council on Foreign Relations, graduated from Seoul National University Law School and got his Diploma from Amsterdam University and Master’s degree in Science of Law from Seoul National University. He passed the 2nd Foreign Service Examination and worked in many countries including Egypt, Italy and Russia as an embassador and served as the president of Korea National Diplomatic Academy and the Senior Secretary to the President for Foreign Affairs and National Security. After his public service, he served as the co-chair of Peace Asia, the chairman of the board of directors of Korea National Oil Corporation and the chair-professor of Dankook University. He is an honrary member of russia Tolstoy Aossiciation and a Korean representative of Bering Tunnel Forum
