Rupert Ambil is the Executive Director, Rappler MovePH. Mr. Ambil studied at UP Los Baños and UP Diliman. He began his career in the broadcast industry at the Philippines’ first 24-hour news channel Sarimanok News Network, now ANC or the ABS-CBN News Channel. As Executive Director of MovePH, he supervises major information awareness campaigns like the Football for Peace program with the Philippine Marines, Agos-eBayanihan with the Office of Civil Defense, and NotOnMyWatch with the British Embassy. In 2015, he also headed the   creation of a nationwide network of citizen journalists for Rappler.
