Ms. Teresa Martinez leads the Specialized Unit against Human Trafficking in Paraguay. of the Public Ministry in the Republic of Paraguay. Her career with the Public Ministry spans over twenty years. As the coordinator of the Human Trafficking unit, Ms. Martinez has traveled to numerous international seminars around the world to countries such as Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Columbia, El Salvador, Mexico, Spain and Portugal to raise awareness about the issue. She has pioneered a model to coordinate the regional fight again human trafficking with larger international efforts.
