Ms. Ji-Young Kim is President of Free North Korea Radio. Kim Ji-Young graduated from Kim Il Sung University and worked as an official with the People’s Committee in Yanggang Province North Korea. She later served as the manager of the Youth Street Restaurant in Pyongyang. Since arriving in South Korea in 2013, she has been active as a lecturer on security and unification, and a broadcaster, appearing on a wide range of media outlets including KBS, Korean National Radio, TV Chosun, Korea Defense TV, Channel A, and SBS. She currently serves as President of Free North Korea Radio, where she continues to deliver outside information to North Korean listeners and raise awareness about the importance of human rights and information access in North Korea.
