Mr. Evans Gor Semelang’o is the chairman of the Board of the Youth Enterprise Development Fund. The three year appointment is effective January 16, 2013 and was announced through the Kenya Gazette of February 15, 2013. Mr. Semelang’o, who has served for three years as a member of the board, now becomes the third Chairperson of the Youth Enterprise Development Fund. His predecessors were Ms. Hellen Tombo (2006 to 2009) and Mr. James Gitau Singh (2010 to 2013).  He has been active in youth matters, having served as the chairman of the National youth council steering committee. He is also an entrepreneur with business interests in the media.
