Hon. Jin-pyo Kim served as the 21st Speaker of the National Assembly of Korea from 2022 to 2024. A five-term lawmaker representing Suwon, he is known as a pragmatic statesman who promotes cooperation across party lines and active parliamentary diplomacy. He studied law at Seoul National University and public administration at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, then spent nearly 30 years as an economic policymaker at the Ministry of Finance. Hon. Kim served as Deputy Prime Minister twice, first for Finance and Economy and then for Education.
