H.E. Jamil Mahuad is an Ecuadorian lawyer, academic, and politician. He served as president of Ecuador from 1998 to 2000. Since then, he has taught leadership and negotiation in Executive Education programs at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He is a member of the Council of Presidents and Prime Ministers at the Carter Center (USA) and also part of the Latin American and Caribbean Presidential Mission, where he contributes his experience to regional dialogue.
