Global Peace Foundation partnered with Pontifical Catholic University in Goiás, Brazil to host a lecture series during its fall semester. The first of the series was held on August 21 with international educationist and vice president of the Global Peace Foundation Education Division, Dr. Tony Devine.
Dr. Devine stimulated provocative discussion on critical issues in education. He also presented the work of GPF’s signature education initiative, Character and Creativity.
Over 170 students engaged in meaningful exchange about alternative approaches to education, educating the whole student including academics and character, and cultivating the next generation’s potential.
The school newspaper published a story covering the stimulating discourse.
