Despite the ongoing pandemic, Action for Korea United (AKU) has been activating the citizen base throughout the country and has launched several new initiatives in 2021.
The capital city of Seoul has appointed 40 district leaders that will engage the Korean people in creating the vision for their nation’s future.
A professor’s association of Action for Korea United was also launched and professors gathered for an opening ceremony in Seoul.
And, AKU held the unveiling of a new office that will be the think tank for reunification-related issues and also will serve as the base for the recently launched professors association.
From April through June a series of leadership workshops are being organized in different parts of the nation. Leaders have gathered to strategize how to engage civil society in this issue of Korean reunification.
