Muslims and Christians Pledge Peaceful Election in 2015 Says the Nation

“With the vows that you have all taken today to resist violence in the coming elections, I believe we shall have a peaceful Christmas. We shall also build on it for an enduring peace in Kaduna State,” said the governor’s wife, Hajiya Fatima Ramalan Yero at a meeting between Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) and the Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) facilitated by the Global Peace Foundation – Nigeria.

The meeting recalled the violence of the 2011 elections and vowed to take measures to ensure peace during the upcoming 2015 elections.
