In Kwoi, the capital of Jaba LGA in Kaduna, Nigeria, over 1500 people attended the International Day of Peace event led by the current ruler of Jaba, Dr. Jonathan Danladi Gyet Maude, and his council members. Global Peace Foundation (GPF), Interfaith Meditation Center, and other NGOs participated in this event, instilling women, youth, and community leaders with peace-based thinking.

This year’s theme of the International Day of Peace was “Climate Action for Peace.” The event brought focus to the Climate Change crisis and the need to work together to find lasting solutions.
