The Global Peace Foundation in partnership with Chandaria Foundation, Nairobi Primary School, Agree Green, UNICAF, the Standard Group, and Kenya Forest Service launched a fourth tree nursery in October 2022 with the aim to raise 60,000 seedlings annually.

The goal is to enhance and accelerate the One Million Tree campaign in support of the 30% national forest cover by 2032, utilizing mainstream active youth participation and promoting green social enterprise in mitigating climate change and enhancing environmental conservation.

In the spirit of the adopt-a-tree initiative, UNICAF has committed to adopting the Nairobi Primary tree nursery in benchmarking the 30% forest cover within the school to showcase and demonstrate ownership in environmental stewardship together with the students, teachers, parents, and staff.
