In an effort to raise the quality of education for children, Global Peace Foundation (GPF) and partners donated school supplies and technology to a boarding school in Indonesia.
GPF Indonesia in cooperation with Fuji Suiso Kansha, a Japan-based hydrogen supplement company, has contributed to the improvement of education in Pesantren (a school of Koranic studies for children and young people most of whom are boarders).
On November 27, 2017 special cultural dances and performances by students of Pondok Pesantren Barokah Darurrohman Bekasi welcomed Mr. Aya Goto (Senior Vice President of Global Peace Foundation), Mr. Hideo Kawabata (CEO of Fuji Suiso Kansha), Mr. Miura (President of Miura Dental Clinic) and Mr. Haruhiko Kawagoe from Japan. Executives were able to tour the school’s facilities and deliver gifts, including 1,000 notebooks, ping pong tables, computers and a projector.
