Volunteers with Global Peace Foundation (GPF) Cambodia are helping transform the lives of underprivileged children in Cambodia supported by the Krousar Thmey Foundation. Since April 2022, qualified volunteers have engaged students in English and Science education with consistent interactive sessions. While some lessons involved teaching basic human anatomy, others had the children watch English movies like Disney Pixar’s “Up” which was selected by the children themselves.

GPF interns participated in helping volunteers teach environmental education to foster awareness and understanding of best practices to care for their community and local environment. Following the information sessions, volunteers and children worked together to plant new trees around their school.
