For many children, being seen is the first step towards believing that they matter. This is the heart of Global Peace Foundation (GPF) Malaysia’s work with Orang Asli communities, creating spaces where children are supported, encouraged, and empowered to imagine new possibilities for their futures. Through the Mobile School initiative, GPF Malaysia brings learning opportunities closer to communities, helping children develop confidence, skills, and a stronger sense of belonging.

In 2020, a small Mobile School initiative began in Kampung Cerampak. What started as a place for children to learn gradually became much more: a space where children could explore their potential, parents became more engaged in their children’s growth, and young people began to believe that their future could look different from their past. Through education, mentorship, and community engagement, GPF Malaysia, in collaboration with ECM Libra Foundation, continues to walk alongside Orang Asli families, strengthening opportunities for children and youth to thrive.

Watch how Global Peace Foundation Malaysia’s Mobile School initiative is transforming lives in Orang Asli communities, creating spaces where children are seen, supported, and empowered to build a brighter future. Through the journeys of Zalia and Asiah, we witness how care, connection, and belonging can quietly shape confidence over time, reflecting the hopes and dreams of many Orang Asli children and communities.
