Grace is Vice-President of North Korean Refugees in the USA (NKinUSA), a Non-profit organization which helps North Korean refugees in the United States and China. Founded in September 2011, NKinUSA is the first human rights organization established by North Koreans who have resettled in the U.S.

Grace Jo was born in North Korea and resides in the United States. Grace has served as a guest of U.S. Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power at the UN Security Council session on NK human rights.
