Hon. Seok-jin Song is a three-term People Power Party lawmaker representing Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, and currently serves as Chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee of the National Assembly. He was elected to the post on July 23, 2026, for the latter half of the 22nd National Assembly. Overseeing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry Unification, this key committee is responsible for foreign policy, inter-Korean relations, North Korea policy, and the ratification of international treaties.
