Hon. Wilson Muruli Mukasa is a Ugandan politician who currently serves as the Minister for Public Service in the Ugandan Cabinet, since 6 June 2016. He previously served as Cabinet Minister for Gender and Social Issues between 1st March 2015 and 6th June 2016 and Minister of Security between 27th May 2011 and 1st March 2015. Hon Mukasa also serves as the Member of Parliament for Budyebo County, in Nakasongola District in the Republic of Uganda. Before joining politics, Hon Mukasa worked as a teacher for 11 years from 1975 until 1986 and as a Principal of his school for two years. In the year 2018, Hon Mukasa served as the Chairman of the Uganda National Organizing Committee which organized the 2018 Global Peace Leadership Conference hosted by Uganda President Yoweri Museveni in Munyonyo Resort in Kampala.
