Hon. Ki-Taek Lee

Former President of the Democratic Party of Korea

Hon. Lee Ki-Taek is a seven-term member of National Assembly of the Republic of Korea. He began his political career in 1967 as a member of the opposition Sinmin Party and was named the secretary general of the party in 1976. He later served as President of Democratic Party from 1992 to 1994. In 2008, Hon. Lee was appointed by President Lee Myung-Bak as Senior Vice-President of the National Unification Advisory Council and served in that post from 2008 to 2011.
