Dr. Omar Mohammed Al Khateeb is the Executive Director of Islamic Affairs Sector in Dubai Government’s Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department. He is also one of the Members in the Board of Trustees for Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for World Peace and the General Convener of Dubai International Peace Convention. He worked in various government departments since 1993 and has attended and presented papers at more than twenty international conferences representing Dubai Government. Through his visionary initiatives Dr. Al Khateeb acted as the key initiator of more than twelve projects in Islamic Affairs-related activities in Dubai.
