Dr. Nona Ricafort is a distinguished leader in women’s empowerment, education, and public service. With academic credentials spanning commerce, conflict management, and public administration from institutions like Columbia University and SAIDI Graduate School, she has balanced scholarship with entrepreneurship. Globally, she has held leadership roles in the ASEAN Confederation of Women’s Organizations, International Council of Women, and Asian Development Bank. She currently leads the Global Peace Women Foundation. In the Philippines, she has presided over the National Council of Women, Philippine Red Cross Manila, and served as Vice Chair of the Philippine Commission on Women.
