Dr. Lkhagvaa Baasanjav is the president of the Mongolia Forum on Korea Unification and author of Here Comes United Korea. He graduated from National University, Mongolia in 1970 and graduated from the University of Kim-Il Sung in Pyongyang in 1975. In 1995, he earned a Ph.D. from the Mongolian Academy of Science specializing in Korean Unification. He previously worked in the Mongolian Embassy in Pyongyang and Seoul as a diplomat; a visiting professor in Osaka University, Japan, and Dankook University, South Korea; as a first head of Department of Korean Studies in National University of Mongolia, and as a researcher-consultant at the Strategy Research Institute.
