Dr. Chun-sig Kim has held several senior positions at the Ministry of Unification, including Director of the Policy Coordination Division, Head of the Inter-Korean Dialogue Office, Director-General of the Exchange and Cooperation Bureau, Director-General of the Unification Policy Office, and Vice Minister of Unification. During his public service, he played a leading role in proposing and drafting key legislation, including the Inter-Korean Exchange and Cooperation Act, the Inter-Korean Cooperation Fund Act, the Development of Inter-Korean Relations Act, and the Unification Education Support Act, helping to establish the institutional framework for Korea’s unification policy. In 2025, he served as President of the Korea Institute for National Unification, continuing his longstanding commitment to Korean reunification.
