Virtual Global Peace Leadership Conference 2020

Global Peace Foundation, in partnership with Standard Media Group is hosting a virtual Global Peace Leadership Conference (GPLC) on July 30-31, 2020. This 2-day conference will bring together over 1,000 multi-sector participants including peace practitioners and experts, educators, religious leaders, civil society leaders, governmental stakeholders, NGOs, school administrators, and media representatives from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria, USA, UK, and other countries to share best practices and lessons learned.

Theme: Transforming Societies for Sustainable Peace and Development: Through Moral and Innovative Leadership in Education and Peacebuilding

Global Peace Leadership Conferences are strategic, multi-sector convenings that build consensus towards pressing regional challenges using an innovative, values-based approach to peacebuilding. This year, our conference tracks will draw on the expertise of diverse speakers and attendees to discuss solutions for transforming education and promoting sustainable peace throughout Africa.
