On Saturday, April 5th, Global Peace Youth Corps and university student volunteers from the Technological Institute of the Philippines-Quezon City, Polytechnic University of Philippines, The Philippine School of Business Administration worked together to package the supplies gathered during the school supply drive. The supplies will be sent to communities that were affected by Typhoon Haiyan including Visayas. With Global Youth Service Days (April 11-13) on their minds, volunteers were moved by the power of a simple act of compassion and service.
