A group of university professors and regional experts held a special press meeting leading up to the August 15 Lincoln Memoria event promoting the One Dream One Korea campaign. The group pushed for multi-sectoral, cooperative efforts towards reunification.

Chang Min Shinn, author of  “Unification is Daebok [“Bonanza”],” 2012, observed that efforts to manage the inter-Korean conflict have been one-sided, isolating potential partners from each other. He and the panel asserted that coordinated efforts bringing together conservatives, liberals, high level and grass-roots civil society would open up new opportutnities for reunification.

The Joong Ahn Daily (Korean Daily) Washington DC Desk reported on the press meeting.
