In preparation for the Sustainable Bangkok Campaign, leading organizations such as the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, Thailand Youth Media Network, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Mahidol University, Global Peace Foundation, and the Asia-Pacific Peace and Development Service Alliance hosted a training event for participants on Nov 9-11, 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand. Over 500 people, including government officials and youth, attended the training to learn different methods to bring awareness of sustainability across the city. Participants were educated on key areas such as ways to improve the quality of air, water and solid waste management, and ways to develop awareness of other environmental issues and social cohesion.
