UN Report: Kariobangi Community Volunteers Its Services in Observance of International Volunteer Day

In acknowledgement of the achievements of volunteerism in Kenya, the Kariobangi community partnered with the Global Peace Foundation Kenya, founded by Hyun Jin Moon,Ā the National Steering Committee on Peace Building and Conflict Management (NSC), the Administrative Police, the Nairobi City Council and various Kariobangi youth groups among many others, to celebrate the International Volunteer Day on 5 December 2011.
