Seon Young Yun served as an MC and a scriptwriter in KBS Gwangju. She also worked for presidential Secretary to the Welfare and Labor as Administrator and Presidential Commission on Special Women’s Affairs and Presidential Committee on Government Innovation and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries as Public Relations Team Leader and Senior Advisor to the National Assembly. 

She earned Master’s Degrees in Public Administration at Yonsei University (social welfare major) and Sungkyunkwan University (governance major) and completed a doctoral course for public administration. She is currently serving as a researcher with Leadership and Public Management Research Center at Sungkyunkwan University. 

She is proactively conducting activities in various areas including leadership, governance, public relations, communication and women’s policy.
