Mrs. Collette Caprara

Mrs. Collette Caprara is an editor for the DeVos Center for Religion and Civil Society, part of The Heritage Foundation. Mrs. Caprara served for 10 years as a writer and editor at Bob Woodson’s National Center for Neighborhood Enterprise and, prior to that, for five years as an editor of The World & I magazine, a publication of The Washington Times Corporation.  Her career has focused on the importance of family and community structures to civil society and an empowerment-based approach to poverty that recognizes and builds on the capacity of low-income men and women, providing opportunity for upward mobility and self-sufficiency.
