Ms. Clessio Pereira Bastos is a Portuguese Professor at Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás and a public school teacher in Goiânia, Brazil. He has worked in the slums of Rio de Janeiro and in at-risk communities in other cities to support residents through education, crime prevention and cultural activities. His upcoming research for his PhD thesis will focus on GPF’s Character and Creativity Initiative, based on Brazilian classroom experience.
