Dr. Young-Sun Song is member of the 18th National Assembly of the Republic of Korea in her second term. She is a member of National Defense Committee in the National Assembly. She is also Chairwoman of the Security & Prevention Forum and General Secretary of the International Parliamentarians’ Coalition for North Korean Refugees and Human Rights. In addition, she has been working as a member of Korea-US Parliamentary Council and Korea-Japan Parliamentary Union. She received her Master degree in Mass Communications and a Ph.D. from University of Hawaii. She is a visiting Professor at Kyungpook National University, Korea. Dr. Song is a member of GPFF’s Global Leadership Council.
