Despite the profound challenges facing the human family around the globe, we can find great inspiration in remarkable people like you on every continent who are making significant contributions to building peace.

Here in the United States, we look forward to soon celebrating Thanksgiving, a time to gather with extended family to appreciate the blessings of life. In our interconnected world, the themes of Thanksgiving—gratitude, community, and sharing—resonate universally. Many nations and cultures celebrate harvest festivals and other celebrations to show appreciation for the blessings of the past year.
