Nairobi – Monday afternoon, CORD leader Raila Odinga departed from the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere International Airport, Dar-Es-Salaam for Zanzibar for the Global Peace Leadership Conference.
On hand to see him off was former Tanzanian Prime Minister, the Rt Hon Frederick Sumaye with whom they heartily chatted before the CORD Leader traveled.
The two leaders further pursued the ongoing dialogue on regional stability in the face of increasingly dangerous times for East Africa with the threat of terror looming.
Also featuring was regional socio-economic intergration with a view to easing bilateral trade and exchange.
Raila had earlier met current Tanzania President Jakaya Kikwete and to be President John Magufuli for talks.
