A large-scale event calling on public support for Korean reunification took place on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC on August 15, the commemoration of Korea’s liberation.

The event featured K-pop sensations Na YoonKwon and Yangpa and a newly composed song about Korean reunification composed by reknown composer Kim Hyung-suk.

Event committee co-chairman, Dr. Jay Ryu, urged people to join the movement and inspire the “hearts and minds” of people with 1Dream for 1Korea.

The committee hosted a banquet the night before on August 14 at the Cannon Caucus Room on Capitol Hill.
